General membership
This applies to all independent and winemaker winegrape growers in Australia. General members have voting rights at WGGA general meetings and can be nominated for positions on the Executive Committee. In addition, members receive direct access to WGGA staff and Executive Committee members for influence on policy and programs and direct benefits such as discounts on WGGA programs and workshops and direct electronic delivery of the United Grower newsletter.
Growers outside of South Australia can join directly through WGGA. All South Australian grapegrowers who pay the voluntary levy to the SA Grape Growers Industry Fund (SAGGIF), are general members of WGGA through a sharing arrangement with the Winegrape Council of South Australia for this voluntary levy.
The subscription rate for 2011/2012 WGGA membership is $0.50c per tonne, based on the 2011 vintage, for both SA voluntary levy payers and direct subscribers.
SA growers wishing to take advantage of the special offer on the Grapegrower and Winemaker magazine as well as receive direct access to the United Grower newsletter and other electronic information from WGGA can register with us (without paying any additional fee). Simply download the membership application form and complete all details – then send to us with proof of payment of the SAGGIF levy.
