Membership
General Membership
WGGA membership is voluntary, enterprise based and membership is open to all wine grape growers. The WGGA 2007/2008 membership subscription rate is $0.50c per tonne – payable on wine grapes delivered to wineries or processors from the 2007 vintage.
Subscriptions may be paid by a number of methods:
- Directly by growers via a Membership Application Form. This applies to growers in all zones/regions excluding Riverina, Murray Valley (Murray-Darling and Swan Hill) and South Australia.
- By winery deductions (remitted to WGGA) from grape payments via an authorization of the deduction by the grower. This applies to growers in all zones/regions excluding Riverina, Murray Valley (Murray-Darling and Swan Hill) and South Australia.
- Via State or Regional statutory levy mechanisms. This applies to growers in all regions in South Australia.
- Via Regional Grower Associations making the membership subscription payments on behalf of their members. This applies in Riverina and Murray Valley for 2007 subscriptions.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is available to entities which have an interest in the wine grape sector, but are not directly involved in wine grape production (for more information contact the WGGA Secretariat).
